Why a window

A window is already a way of looking. You stand in your own room and see another place, and you do not have to go there. That felt like the right object for a December tradition. The frame can live on a shelf. The story can change behind the glass. When the season ends, the same object can be wrapped and brought out again.

The North Pole in this project is a landscape, not a single workshop shot. Over December 1 through Christmas Day, the view can move through a mailroom, training grounds, a bakery, a testing bench, a map room, and the last preparations before Christmas Eve. The full day-by-day list is not published. Anticipation needs somewhere to stand.

What this website is for

The window is not available to buy. This site exists to explain the idea clearly, to let anyone look at the before-December experience, and to collect a waitlist for a planned Holiday 2026 launch. Joining that list does not reserve a product, and it does not create an order. There is no price and no shipping date here.

You can start with the demonstration scene, then read how a real window would work when one is in a family’s hands.

What we are careful about

Accounts belong to parents. A child display name is optional and short, and it stays on the parent account. The window itself shows the picture first and the story underneath, without that name. We do not ask for a child’s age, birthdate, surname, or home address. The NFC page is private, free of ads, and unwilling to show a future day just because someone edits the link. Scene views are counted in a minimal way, with IP addresses stored only as hashes.

The privacy details are written out on the privacy page. If something there is unclear, the contact form is the right place to say so.

Where things stand

The experience can already tell the difference between the resting months, the November 15–30 waking-up view, each day from December 1 through December 26, and the return to rest at midnight on December 27. Sample scenes exist for the rest, the waking-up view, December 1 through 3, and the last scene. The remaining days will be made before a launch, and they will stay unpublished until their dates.

Holiday 2026 is the plan we are building toward. It is not a promise of a particular delivery day. When there is news worth sending, the waitlist is how we will send it.
